Concept of artwork 設計理念:
is a series of ceramic sculptures that expresses strange creatures by disassembling and reconfiguring female body and plant. The motif of this series is the custom that women are compared to flower. I wanted to express the conflict between social femininity and identity and destroy typical feminity by dismantling sexually concentrated female body. Furthermore, it expresses diversity of modern feminity through uncanny images.Artwork infomation

Since modern times, women's social roles and status have been expanding as their perceptions of women have changed significantly. In addition, the view of recognizing women as independent subjects and respecting various femininity is becoming common. Nevertheless, there are still stereotypes and social oppression of femininity in actual women's lives. Accordingly, I questioned the value judgment based on sex. The grotesque image of these works which is generated through body deformation causes uncanny emotions and expresses intense women's life. Various materials such as fibers and beads are used to express a new sense of beauty, and tactileity emphasizes sexuality and eroticism. Through this series, I would like to challenge existing oppressive value system.
