Influenced by societal frameworks, I once wore a mask and carried the burdens of pretense. Breaking free from self-identity confusion, my soul expanded beyond its shell, birthing new growth. The artwork on the wall depicts the insecure self trying to rediscover authenticity and yearning to grow outward. The shadows remind me of the true self, eager to flourish.

考慮到視覺上的張力與觀者的觀看角度，除了陶片的製作及燒製是在工坊中進行，我將《初生》的後期創作直接搬遷至展場裡完成，是我首次嘗試的實驗性創作。受到鹽田千春在創作上大量使用纏繞的紅線為啟發，我將紅線帶入此件作品，先以毛邊縫的方式將陶片的邊框包圍，再藉由紅線串連。「空間」在此作品中扮演很重要的角色，如何分佈陶片的位置、以及陶片與紅線之間的距離，都受到空間的影響而變動；每一個在牆面鎖下的螺絲釘也影響著整個作品最終成長的模樣。 陶片和線材的搭配，是軟硬媒材的結合，以線材將陶片織在一起，穿梭的紅線成了軟性的雕塑，將堅硬陶片支撐在整面牆角，是一股柔軟卻堅毅的力量。原有軀殼的陶片以及新生肉的紅線所帶來的碰撞，像是原來的我與現在的我在對話。
