What if history moves differently? Will the way we live change? Will we develop into a totally different technology style? Petty things cumulated, and one day they became our era. Finding that every step we choose may lead to the life style far from the way people familiar with.

這件作品靈感來自蒸氣龐克文學，它構建了一段假想歷史，帶領人類走入一段有著完全不同世界觀的虛擬未來，以直觀的方式反思人類文明與歷史。 這件雕塑靈感來自蒸氣龐克，很大部分這類風格的作品都以金屬為媒材。 我思考著，金屬也來自土，何不用土做做看？ 透過多次釉藥實驗模擬金屬質感，金屬結晶顆粒恍若歲月痕跡的斑駁鏽蝕，燒成後並沒有再經過作舊處理，每一處細節皆為天然的釉色。 除了金屬質感的開發，我將1760年工業革命時代的人物衣著時尚融入雕塑，將之結合機械零件元素，讓視覺上聯想過往歷史的同時，在奇幻詭異的機械造型中看見與現在主流思想全然不同的未來感。
