Concept of artwork 設計理念:

5 O’Clock: the moment sunlight filters through the trees. The natural interplay between light and shadow invites viewers to immerse in a quiet experience by observing the local flora that is often overlooked in the ever-changing urban landscape. To investigate the fragile yet enduring nature of porcelain, the traditional sprigging technique is redefined by the hand-carved and moulded openwork designs, highlighting the translucency of porcelain.

其他說明:

Dimensions Variable | For reference, the dimensions and weight given are of the largest piece. 5 O’Clock reflects the quiet magnificence of mature rain trees in the urban landscape. Just before sunset, the leaves fold up, hence the name 'Pukul Lima’ in Malay, which means 'five o’clock’. This common wayside tree is known for providing shade in the tropics with its distinctive dome-shaped canopy, where the community share fond memories of relaxing under its open embrace.

It would be good to install it in various ways by giving it a change in color.
