In the early days, farmers used to use clay urns to pickle their food, and I saw my father making clay urns at the kiln when I was a child. The shape of this work is developed from the structure of a gene, and the author assumes the appearance of a pottery urn as a single gene, combining several urns into a single unit, with multiple units linked by a belt to form the main body of the work.

The work is assembled, with large objects carrying small objects on their shoulders, reminding the author of the time when his father used to carry him on his shoulders to watch Puppet show.The glaze color is black and brown, and some parts of the glaze have been fired into a pinhole-like bubble glaze, and the glaze is fragile and will fall off when touched vigorously.The meaning is that this work will produce a small part of damage every time it is moved, just like people will gradually deteriorate as they grow older. 作品是組裝而成，大型的物件把小型物件背在肩膀，讓筆者想起小時候父親常把他背上肩看布袋戲。釉色是利用黑色與咖啡色兩種，有些部分燒成針孔狀的泡泡釉，且釉面脆弱，大力的碰觸就會掉落，此含義是為了此作品在每次移動時都會產生小部份損傷，就好比人會隨著年紀增長有些機能也會漸漸退化。
