這件雕塑靈感來自蒸氣龐克，很大部分這類風格的作品都以金屬為媒材。 我思考著，金屬也來自土，何不用土做做看？ 透過多次釉藥實驗模擬金屬質感，金屬結晶顆粒恍若歲月痕跡的斑駁鏽蝕，燒成後並沒有再經過作舊處理，每一處細節皆為天然的釉色。 除了金屬質感的開發，我將1760年工業革命時代的人物衣著時尚融入雕塑，將之結合機械零件元素，讓視覺上聯想過往歷史的同時，在奇幻詭異的機械造型中看見與現在主流思想全然不同的未來感。
