Concept of artwork 設計理念:
The variety of shapes in clay printing is limited due to the fact that some slants can not be printed without collapsing. By altering the surface structure where it is needed non-printable vessels are transformed into printable ones. The created ornament has a distinctive aesthetic value yet makes visible what would otherwise have remained hidden in the form using digital tools, material and design in interplay.

The different dimension except the height can be different from piece to piece due to the different shapes. The vessels of this series are breaking the layered aesthetic of a 3d-printed surface while showing a new possibility of shapes in the area of clayprinting. The digital tool developed for this project is examining the shapes for weak spots and adding more structure where it is needed.
