Concept of artwork 設計理念:
I have been interested in decorating my appearance as a heroine in my comics since I was young. I naturally worked on the theme of beauty desire, various beauty standards, and femininity. I especially express the endless desire and longing for the beauty that many women, including myself, have about 'dolls'. From my childhood to me, 'dolls' were my own possession and an area of infinite imagination and fantasy that can project my desires to my heart. It also existed as 'another me' that could empathize and identify with me in my life. So I started making dolls with the same faces as myself. Since the standards of 'beauty' that I crave so much are diversified according to time and space, they are expressed in different shapes in each works. The fantasy of my beauty can be a pretty princess in my dolls, a sexy Barbie doll, and a very obese figure.
Rubber band, stainless bar, leather
My work consists of 17 pieces and is a two stage spherical joint doll which can move joints freely. The mold of each piece is molded directly, and a casting mold for casting ceramics is made and extracted with soil. It is then dried and dried at 6 00degrees. The rough pieces are sanded with water and polished to a temperature of 1180 degrees. After the conglomerate, we use porcelain pigment for ceramics. From the bottom of the figure, we draw a single layer and calcine at a temperature of 700 ° C between each process. After a total of six kilns are baked, a cowhide is added to the joint between the joints to prevent breakage, and a stanchion rod is inserted into the hole pre-drilled in the joint sphere. Finally, connect each piece using rubber bands.
