Concept of artwork 設計理念:
This project examines the meaning of handicraft and tries to justify its place in today’s modern times. Through showing the individual steps of the manufacturing process and through paintings I use to decorate vases I practically present the effort required to produce such a vase. My intention is to make people think about the incomparable value of human handwork and its products in contrast with their machine counterparts. "2841" I have gained 2841 days of experience with both materials. Both from field experts and from my own experience. The count starts with the first day of art courses at Secondary Professional School of Applied Art in Prague, where i studied applied painting. It finishes with the date when i handed over my bachelors dissertation after four years in porcelain and ceramics department at The Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague.
Material: porcelain, engobe, transparent glaze, platinum, gold The information described in this section apply only on painted and fired vases (2 pieces). The information about unfired vases (3 pieces) is width 27 cm and height 53 cm.
