Concept of artwork 設計理念:
本系列作品以“封印”为主题,封印是一种保存事物的方式和过程。被封印的事物可以是具象的,也可以是抽象的,它们与时间发生关系,遗留下稍纵即逝的瞬间。我利用陶瓷的注浆成型工艺,将布与纸的不同状态封存在陶瓷器皿上,留下变化的肌理,探讨材料所能发挥的能量与张力,将过去的瞬间以一种物化的形式再现。通过灯光,事物的薄与厚、动与静、黑与白、消逝与永存的相对性得以体现,材质最真实的信息与情感转述给观者,联结起他们心中的记忆影像。 “Seal” is taken as the theme of this series of works, it refers to a process or an approach during which subjects are kept and saved. Subjects which are sealed can be either specific or abstract, they are interacting with time, leaving off transient but precious moments. Through the slip casting process of ceramics, I try to seal various statuses of cloth and papers on porcelain wares, leaving changing textures of them on the surface, in the purpose of exploring material’s possibility of expressing power and force, and representing a past moment in the form of a certain entity. All subjects’ thin part and thick part, static status and dynamic status, dark side and light side, the relativity between elapse and eternity are embodied via light. The most realistic feelings and information of materials are transmitted to watchers, connecting to those faded impressions that are deeply rooted in their hearts and memories.

“封印”这一系列作品是将布与纸的肌理保留在陶瓷器皿上,通过对这些材料的折叠和挤压,能够在陶瓷表面产生相应的薄厚不一的变化。在创作过程中,我喜欢去探索各种肌理的可能,一方面,肌理能够满足视觉和触觉的渴望,另一方面,它们也能够勾起我对于山川、河流、沟壑等一些自然景观的联想。 作品之所以叫“封印”,是因为这个创作的过程让我想到远古的化石,化石真实地再现了曾经生活在地球上的生物的真实面貌,它使得易逝的事物不因为时间的流逝而被遗忘。陶瓷也是如此,它能够抵挡岁月的侵蚀,即使经历千百年时间的洗礼,它所能透露的信息依旧完整,在历史的长河中,用来记载文明的纸和布却会被不断腐蚀和消失,因此,创作的过程是希望将它们的痕迹印在陶瓷上以抵抗时间的侵蚀,以再现的形式实现永恒。
